She’s not able to do it in the 10 seconds that Wrecker gives her, so they both take cover, bracing for the explosion. After Omega says it seems simple enough, Wrecker puts her to the test and activates the explosive. While on Bracca, Wrecker and Omega get some quality time together as he teachers her a new skill - disabling an explosive. But, once Crosshair informs them that it’s Clone Force 99, Rampart orders Crosshair to terminate them if they are found - despite Lama Su telling him that the Bad Batch are assets and they should be brought in alive. Rampart, obviously annoyed at being interrupted, tells the clone commander to send a scout team.
Crosshair informs them that scrappers on Bracca have reported a power surge on a Jedi Cruiser. He enters a room where Prime Minister Lama Su and Vice Admiral Rampart from the Empire are in a discussion. Crosshair, alongside his new team, walks the white halls of the cloning facility. The episode opens up with the stormy scenery of Kamino.
After a scare with Wrecker, the team uses the medical bay of a crashed Jedi StarCruiser to remove their inhibitor chips. That’s right, we mean fan-favorite Captain Rex. As first glimpsed in season 7 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Clone Force 99 gets even more development in Stare Wars: The Bad Batch premiere, revealing the Kaminoans were so proud of their mutant clones, they even began attempting to create more.Last week, Clone Force 99 meets up with an old friend on the planet Bracca. As a result, they developed the so-called Bad Batch, a crack team of mutants who essentially serve as the superheroes of the Grand Army.
The Kaminoans gradually came to understand these mutations could actually be beneficial, because sometimes their clones developed skills and abilities that proved desirable. However good the cloners may be, sometimes there are mutations. The cloners of Kamino are the best in the galaxy, creators of the Grand Army of the Republic - and unwitting pawns of Darth Sidious, as he wove the Clone Wars as the ultimate Jedi Trap, and Bad Batch shows just what they're capable of when they aren't making perfect clones of Jango Fett.
